A delightful and rarely spotted white ironstone butter pot complete with its original lid, which would have originally been part of a picnic set.
Dating from around 1900, this pot has a Coracle makers mark on its base. The pot has been well used and so is in fair condition for its age. Its nonetheless a very attractive piece.
Most notably, the pot lid has suffered some damage and a former breakage has been repaired. The repair is on one side of the lid and, whilst rather crude, is solid. Whilst I wouldn't recommend the pot is used regularly, this is still a highly attractive and scarce display item.
