I have three different sized examples of Edwardian bentwood grain measures available for sale, all with a rich and deep colour and patination.

Available in sizes for a quart, pint and half pint, these measures are quality pieces of antique treen. They all carry a London registration mark for King Edward VII, which is stamped on the outside and with the Crown mark also appearing on the inside of each measure. As was common practice at the time, all treen measures were verified by an inspector of weights and measures with a mark carrying the initials of the sovereign at the time. The purpose of this measure was to weigh out dry goods like corn and pulses.

All of these measures are in excellent condition, with their original rivets and fittings. There are no breakages or cracks to the wood. All also have a beautiful rich colour to them.

Dimensions:
Quart - Diameter, 12.5cm; Height, 12cm; Pint - Diameter, 10.2cm; Height, 9.5cm; Half Pint - Diameter, 8.5cm; Height, 7.5cm
