Antique Early to Mid 20th Century Pig Shaped Chopping Board
Antique Early to Mid 20th Century Pig Shaped Chopping Board
A cute and nice sized example of an antique pine wooden chopping board in the shape of a pig.
Dating from the early to mid 20th Century, this wooden cutting board has seen a little wear over the years but this adds to its rustic charm as an interesting and decorative addition to the kitchen. With a brass beaded eye on one side, the thicker width of this boar means it can also stand up on its feet, making it a great decorative feature.
There is some general wear and discolouration to the surface of this cutting board. There is also an old knot which has a little wear to it. On the whole, though, it is in very sturdy condition and is good to use. There is more staining on the back side of the board, clearly from where this has been laid down over the years.
