A highly collectable antique early 20th Century treen and white ironstone lemon squeezer.
Dating from around 1910, this beech and white ironstone lemon press is a great decorative piece of kitchenalia which is also still perfect for ongoing use. Lemon (or other fruit) halves are placed in the section with holes, with the juice squeezed from them when the handles are closed.
In good working condition, it is becoming harder to find these in good condition. The wood has a nice colour to it, the original hinge is in tact and the ironstone sections are still firmly in position. There are some odd scuff marks and scratches. And the ironstone has a few scuff marks and stains from use but overall it’s a great piece of unusual kitchenalia which would make a great addition to a bar or kitchenalia collection.
