A delightful rustic egg rack to hold half a dozen eggs, dating from the early 20th Century.

This English wooden single tiered egg rack is a rare small example, with capacity to hold up to six eggs. This more compact size rack is difficult to source and is ideal for those who have limited space options in the kitchen.

Of primitive construction, this has an overall rustic appearance. But it is a very sturdy and durable piece, with a lovely natural timeworn patina.

In overall excellent condition, this egg holder is perfect for ongoing use. The holes are large but, with a built in base, eggs of all sizes can still sit comfortably in this tray (as demonstrated in the pictures, eggs are not included).

In summary, this is a great rare piece of antique treen kitchenalia which is still perfect for use today.
