Antique Early 20th Century Rustic Wooden Sussex Trug

This is a lovely antique early 20th Century small sized Sussex trug, in lovely condition with its original slats and fixings.

his trug has a lovely timeworn patina to it. This cute trug oozes charm, and it is an ideal home or garden accessory. Although it is small in size, it is ideal for carrying a small amount of vegetables or cut flowers from the garden, or for display purposes in the home.

In good original and sturdy condition, there are no repairs to this trug. There are a few old worm holes, mainly located on one side of the handle, but these have been treated. There is also a small gap between the slats on one side of the basket section, from where they have naturally moved over time. However, this doesn't affect the stability or use of the trug in any way.
