A superb example of an antique hand painted toleware waste paper basket dating from the 1920s but still perfect for use today around the home.
This tin waste paper bin is in excellent condition, with beautiful floral decoration and a bow, as well as a scumble effect background. The paintwork is in excellent condition still, with just minor wear in places which is more notable on the rims of the bin. It can stand alone on the floor or a surface but also has a handy hook to be able to hand on a wall.
The main signs of wear are surface scratches to the base and back of the bin. Some of these have lightly oxidised but overall this is in very good condition.
