Antique Early 20th Century Grocers Advertising Spike - Finest Smoked

A nice antique early 20th Century grocers spike for ‘Finest Smoked’, which is perfect for adding a vintage touch to your kitchen styling. 

Dating to the first half of the 20th Century, shop advertising signs like this were very common in grocers shops to help advertise their products within the shop, sitting alongside the products on display.

This celluloid sign is quite striking with some of the typography italicised.  A great and unique display piece.

This sign is in fair condition for its age. It has discoloured over time and there are some surface scratches. But overall the black typography is still very clear and recognisable.
