A beautiful set of antique opera glasses made by Chevalier Paris, and likely to date to the early 20th Century.

Decorated with hand painted enamel detail, these glasses are a gorgeous pink colour, with a deeper pink trim and floral detailing. The maker's name is around each of the eye pieces and they are still in working order.

There is some wear where the enamel has peeled away although the pattern is largely in tact. The rims of the eye pieces have also suffered some light dents but overall these are in lovely condition still. Although the view is very slightly foxed, they are still in full working order.

Length, 10.5cm; Width, 4cm; Height, around 8cm depending on how far these are extended.
