Antique Christofle Rubans Large Cake or Bread Knife

Bearing a Christofle mark from the early 20th Century, this large bread or cake knife is in the classic Rubans style. A design which was created in 1907 and is still going strong today, it features symmetrical decoration crossed ribbons, with bows at each end. The pattern was aimed at evoking joyful childhood memories, and their timeless design certainly makes me smile!

This knife is in lovely condition, with just some mild tarnishing in places, and remains sharp. I imagine this would be perfect for cake cutting at a wedding or for special birthdays.
