Antique Carved Wooden Butter Board and Dish

An unusual chip carved example of a carved English wooden butter dish, plus willow patterned liner, dating from the early to mid 20th Century.

In excellent condition, this is a lovely rich coloured butter board, the the board 'Butter' appearing in a nice italicised font and in a framed border. Foliage has also been carved onto the bottom half of the board.  The board is complete with a willow patterned ironstone liner plate. 

In lovely condition, there are just a few odd scuff marks to the edge of the butter board in places.
