This is a charming antique early 20th Century French butter brick mould.

The carving on this mould features lots of lovely details of an alpine village setting, with a pine tree standing alongside other flowers in the garden of an alpine chalet. The peaks of mountains can be seen in the background. There is also a carved border around this charming scene.

With its rustic patina, this would look beautiful simply sat proudly on display to give a rustic touch to your interior kitchen styling. There is an old crack near the neck of the mould, but the decoration is unaffected by this and the piece is stable. There is also some general wear and light marks to the wood. But this adds to the general rustic charm of the piece.
