Antique Carved English Breadboard with Rosettes and Foliage

This is a great sized antique early 20th Century breadboard, with a chip carved border featuring rosettes and a rich coloured patina which has lots of use left in it.

Dating from the early part of the 20th Century, this large sized carved English breadboard has a wonderful rich colour to it from years of regular waxing. Simple in style, the two rosettes on each side of the border do add character though and it has an extra large gully for collecting crumbs. 

In good antique condition, there are some knife marks from use to the centre of the board, plus some light scuffs.  It sits completely flat so is a highly usable as well as attractive decorative piece.
