Antique 19th Century Small French Cast Iron Bird Bath

A gorgeous painted 19th Century French cast iron bird bath, with chippy and naturally timeworn charm, which would add an instant rustic touch to your garden or home.

Sourced in France, the original cream coloured paint has now worn and weathered to fantastic effect, leaving it with a natural and timeworn charm to it.

Designed as a small bird bath, the detail of two birds sitting either side of the leaf is very pretty. It could continue to be used for this purpose or it would also make a stunning centrepiece or display stand.

This stand has naturally worn over time from exposure to the elements. There is oxidisation and wear to the paint. It is secured together by a sing screw at the base. This is secure but all sections of the stand do wobble a little because of this.
