Antique 19th Century Pink Transferware Plate

This is a stunning aged and weathered antique French small sized terre de fer plate, dating from the late 19th Century, with a gorgeous timeworn charm and patina.

With an indented age mark plus the Gien mark on its base, this plate dates from the late 1800s. It has a beautiful pink transferware thistle pattern, which blends beautifully with the natural weathered look and buttery colouring the platter has taken on over the years,

Apart from the timeworn crazing and light staining, it is otherwise in fair condition considering its age. There are no chips. But there is a hairline on one side of the plate but the piece is stable.
