Antique 19th Century French Wooden Pelmet

A lovely decorative French carved wooden pelmet, which would make a lovely decorative feature.

This lovely wooden panel dates at least to the 19th Century and I'm guessing was part of a headboard or feature on a piece of furniture. It has some beautiful detailing which has been deeply carved. I can see this sitting beautifully above a door or on a shelf.

In fair condition for its age, there are old age cracks which are stable, as well as some areas where there have been knocks and scuffs. There are some areas of minor loss to the wood, for example in the middle of the panel and around the edges. However, it is a stable piece and the decoration is stunning.
