Antique 19th Century French Hand Blown Rummer

These are fabulous hand blown French glass rummers, dating from the 19th Century, available to purchase individually.

Made from thick heavyset glass, these rummers make such wonderful wine glasses. I personally like to mix up glassware, especially on special occasions like Christmas. These goblets would make the perfect addition to a mixed and matched set. These also stand out because the bottom half of the goblet section has an unusual ribbed effect.  

As they are hand blown pieces, there are imperfections in the glass like air bubbles and some internal cracks where the bases have been finished off. However, these rummers are otherwise in excellent condition. The goblets on these glasses are an impressive size, perfect to enjoy a glass of wine from. The rounded and chunky stems add to the imposing look of them. Being hand blow, there are some minor imperfections, like a slight slant in the top rims and a small imperfection in the colour of the glass in the base of one of the glasses.

However, overall, they are beautiful rummers and there are no chips or cracks to the glass.
