Antique 1920s French White Ironstone Sarreguemines Jug

This is a lovely example of a small to medium-sized plain white ironstone milk or cream jug, made by the renowned Sarreguemines factory. 

With a mark on its base dating the jug to around the 1920s, this jug oozes timeworn charm and quality. Jugs this are perfect for use in the modern home, and can double up as bud vases for flowers when not in use.

It is in good condition for its age, with no cracks or chips. There are some mild patches of coffee coloured ,plus light crazing all over. There is also some mild staining to the top and base rims. But these features add to its antique patina, though, and it’s a gorgeous looking aged creamer.
