Antique 1 Litre Banded White Ironstone Jug

A lovely example of an early 20th Century white ironstone banded dairy jug or pitcher.

Capable of holding 1 litre, with the capacity clearly marked on its side, this pitcher was made by renowned Belgian makers, Boch La Louviere, in the early 1900s.

These white banded cream and milk jugs are perfect for use in the modern home, and can double up as vases for flowers or kitchen utensil storage.

It is in fair condition for its age, with no chips or cracks. There are some mild patches of staining where this has been used, most notably around the tip of the spout and the base rim. 

It’s a beautiful decorative antique for use around the home.
