19th Century Antique French Timeworn Mirror

Dating from the 1800s, this is a highly decorative antique French mirror with a pretty metalwork frame.

With a foxed and timeworn appearance, the mirror has a metal frame adorned with rosettes. Three larger rosettes stand out more prominently at the top of the mirror and the central one has lovely foliage detail. 

There is foxing on the mirror although this gives the piece authentic timeworn appeal. There are also soe bends and knocks to the metalwork, most notably on the foliage decoration and also on the back. Two of the rosettes are a little loose and can be moved but it is a sturdy piece and perfectly usable still. There is no wire or fixings to hang this, but they could be added.
