19th Century Antique French Oak Chopping Board

These antique French chopping or herb boards are so highly sought after. And understably so! The shape, weight and practicality of use make them so appealing.

This example, made of oak, is a lovely wide shape and is perhaps a little shallower than other examples. The raised sides make it perfect for ensuring no food falls away from the sides while meals are being prepared. It is also extremely heavy so there's no risk of this moving around whilst in use either.

There are a number of old worm holes across the front of this piece. It has been treated but nonetheless the price has been reduced accordingly. Otherwise, it is a very solid piece.
