This is a gorgeous and useful jelly mould, dating from the late 19th or early 20th Century.
Made by the famous Villeroy & Boch factory, this white ironstone jelly mould is a very sweet example. In the shape of a duck, it’s still in very good order and is a very clean example. It can continue to be used to make more jellies in years to come, and will also look lovely on display in the kitchen. The inside of the mould has lots of nice details for the duck’s features to be included in any jellies.
Overall, the mould is in very clean condition, with just some light crazing which has lightly stained in places. There is a small chip to the outer rim as well as a small hairline crack on one side of the rim. However, this is very stable and the mould is perfectly usable.
