18th Century Deeply Carved French Wooden Panel

Dating from the 18th Century, this is a stunning example of a baroque style deeply carved wooden panel originating from a religious setting.

The detail on this panel is absolutely stunning, with wonderful detailing in the cornucopia leaves swirling around the piece, and lovely rosettes.. This is a piece of art in itself and it's perfect for adorning a wall or shelf..

There are some old worm holes on one side of this piece, but these have been treated. Some old cracks also seem to have been glued previously, although this isn't overly notable.

A wonderful decorative French antique.
