Vintage Mid Century Stoneware Lidded Butter Dish by Pearson’s of Chesterfield

1930s antique Meredith Drew glass shop counter advertising display jar

This is a mint condition English stoneware “Butter” Dish, dating from the mid 20th Century, made by Pearsons of Chesterfield.

A great size for everyday use, this stoneware butter dish would have been made in England in the 1960s. Simple in design, the black transferprint “Butter” label really makes this vintage piece of kitchenalia stand out.

Complete with its original lid, this dish is in perfect condition and has no chips or cracks. There is only very minor wear to the base rim, plus a tiny amount of wear and discoloration where the lid sits.

Diameter, 12.5cm; Height, 8.5cm (including lid)
