A beautiful example of a large French stoneware dish for ‘Beurre’ – or butter.

Dating from the mid to late 20th Century, this style of dish, featuring black on white typography in the French Art Deco style, isn’t often seen. It’s a great display piece but is also perfect to serve butter from when entertaining or having a BBQ.

The dish is in excellent condition and is overall very clean save for a few minor scuff marks and age spots.

Perfect items for adding a French country look to your interior, it is also a very usable piece.
