Antique Victorian Carved English Treen Butter Dish with Glass Liner
An excellent example of a carved English wooden butter dish, dating from the early 20th Century.
This carved wooden butter dish dates to the late Edwardian era, circa 1910. It is in very good condition for its age and appears to hardly seen any use, with the carved wooden gothic stylised lettering still very crisp and sharp.
This dish is complete with its original glass liner. This sits a little loosely in position but can be pushed and fixed into place if desired.
These are excellent items to have on display in the kitchen, especially as part of a kitchenalia collection.
In lovely condition, there is a single worm hole, which has long gone but has nonetheless been treated for assurance.
