Antique Victorian English Advertising Pot or Crock for J Sainsburys

1930s antique Meredith Drew glass shop counter advertising display jar

This is a listing for one antique white ironstone small J Sainsbury’s potted meat crocks, dating from the end of the 19th/early 20th Century.

These little ironstone jars are great examples of antique English advertising pots. In the standard small size, they look wonderful on display as part of a kitchenalia or white ironstone collection, and are versatile to use in all rooms around the home.

At the time they were produced, these pots were discarded. These have been dig from an old Victorian dump, and therefore feature aged crazing and staining. However, they are all in excellent condition.

Six pots are available in total, with varying degrees of crazing and staining. Pot number 2 has sold. Pot number 5 has a small chip on its base, and pot number six has yellowed a little in colour. These are available for £15.00 each.

Please note I also have a number of the harder to find slightly taller J Sainsbury’s pots in stock too, and there are discounts available for multiple purchases.

Height, 6.5cm; Diameter, 5.5cm

UK delivery included; international delivery a maximum of £12.00 for one pot, although combined options work out more economical.
