Antique Victorian Treen Tiered Wooden Egg Rack for One Dozen or 12 Eggs

1930s antique Meredith Drew glass shop counter advertising display jar

A fine example of a Victorian treen egg rack, capable of holding one dozen eggs over two tiers, dating from the late 1800s.

This wooden egg rack is a great compact size for the kitchen counter top and can hold 12 eggs. With turned column supports, and finials which screw tightly into position, it is a very well made and sturdy piece of treen kitchenalia.

In lovely condition, there are simply some small cracks to the wood at the end of the tiers plus some small patches of staining on the underside of each level which cannot be seen. It is still a very sturdy piece and is perfect for display and day to day use.

Please note the dummy egg is not available for sale.
