Antique Victorian Set of A Stoneware Mini Marmalade & White Ironstone Paste Pot
A very sweet and cute set of two miniature marmalade and paste pots, dating from the late 19th Century or early 20th Century.
The mini stoneware marmalade pots are rarely seen. Roughly half the size of a standard one pound pot, these are very cute and useful items to have around the home. This has been paired with a small white ironstone paste pot which would originally have been used for creams or ointments.
Both these items were recently dug from a Victorian dump. Therefore, they both bear a timeworn charm and patina with some minor patches of staining, crazing and some minor nicks. There are no cracks or major dents but, most notably, there is some staining to the top rim of the marmalade pot.
