Rarely Seen Plain White Ironstone Antique Edwardian Rolling Pin
A superb and rare solid white ironstone rolling pin, dating from the early 20th Century.
This Edwardian white ceramic rolling pin is in excellent condition. It is hard to find plain whiteware rolling pins, especially in this all-in-one shape. Made in solid white ironstone, this piece is very unique in that it is one solid piece, with the handles also part of the same piece of whiteware.
This rolling pin also benefits from having the perfect patina, covered in very light crazing.
In excellent condition, there are just a couple of odd age spots and marks, mainly visible on the handles, from use. Overall, though, it is in very clean condition.
The heavy and solid nature of this rolling pin makes it perfect for day to day use in the kitchen, where it will also look fabulous on display. Ideal for use with pastry, the ironstone was intended to help keep the pastry cool when rolling.
