A gorgeous large French white stoneware bottle for ‘Eau Potable’ - drinking water.
Dating from the mid to late 20th Century, and made by Charolles, this style of jug, featuring black on white typography in the French Art Deco style, aren’t often seen. It is an impressive large size which makes it perfect to have on display and to use when entertaining.
This jug is in clean, crisp condition. There is a small repair to the tip but otherwise it's in great condition with no cracks or crazing.
The perfect piece for adding a French country look to your interior, it is very usable but would equally look nice displayed with flowers.
