Vintage French Small Wirework Garlic Basket

This is a lovely little wirework basket, designed to store garlic bulbs in. 

French in origin, this wirework basket dates from the mid 20th Century. Petite and cute in size, it’s a really handy small size to be able to tuck into a corner of a kitchen counter. A great size for holding two to three garlic bulbs with ease.

In excellent condition, there is minimal wear and corrosion to the basket, with the exception of where the handle is joined to the main basket section, which does have some light oxidisation. It is still perfectly usable though.

Diameter, 13cm; Height, 15cm overall and 10.5cm to the top of the basket.
