Vintage French Rustic Wirework Trivet with Hen Decoration

This is a lovely rustic French wirework trivet.

Decorated with a hen in the centre, this is a very pretty wirework trivet which is in excellent and sturdy order. The addition of the chicken decoration makes it a pretty item to have on display in the kitchen when not in use. And it's a great item to have for use as a pot stand or teapot stand. 

This trivet doesn't have a great deal of age to it but there is wear and some scratches to the wirework in places, as well as some minor patches of oxidisation. It is a very sturdy piece, able to withstand the weight of pots or a teapot.

It's a lovely French decorative piece for the kitchen.
