Striking Victorian Blue Apothecary Jar - Chloral & Camph

A stunning and striking antique Victorian apothecary pot, dating to the late 19th Century.

Carrying an impressed mark for the maker Maw on its base, this is a stunning antique pharmacy pot. The blue is exceptionally vivid still and really stands out. 

At more than 125 years old, this pot does show signs of wear. Most notable, there are some nibbles and small chips to the edge of the lid and top of the pot from where it has been used over the years. There is also a tiny chip to the edge of the lid on one side although this isn't overly notable. There is wear and some age to the base of the pot and the label too, but overall the condition is very good.

A fantastic decorative piece for a bedroom or bathroom.
