Set of Two Vintage French White Ironstone Soup Bowls

A lovely clean pair of French white ironstone footed soup dishes with decorative lion head handles, which are available to purchase as a set of two. Two pairs are available.

Dating from the mid to latter part of the 20th Century, these soup bowls are in excellent condition. Great for day to day use, these beautiful plain whiteware bowls also look lovely stacked up on display.

In excellent condition, these bowls just have minor signs of wear on the base rims and a few odd pock marks from the firing process. There are no chips, cracks or crazing. The detail of the lion’s head handles are more detailed and distinguishable than normally found on these types of bowls.
