These are two lovely examples of a vintage rustic French stoneware cheese strainer, available to purchase individually.
Dating from the early to mid 20th Century, both these cheese faisaille pots have got gorgeous earthy, neutral tones to them. They are fabulous display items in their own right but also double up as trinket pots, soap dishes and candle holders.
The slightly larger, medium sized pot is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks or chips. The smaller, more neutral coloured pot does have a hairline crack running down the side of it but it’s still a solid piece and perfectly good for display purposes.
