Rare Green Antique Maling Cobblestone Ironstone Storage Jar - Lentils

A rare early 20th Century green Maling Cobblestone storage jar for Lentils, which is in excellent order.

A good medium sized pot, this ironstone canister has stood the test of time with no cracks or chips to it. The striking green cobblestone pattern and label for 'Lentils' are also very clear.

There is some crazing in places, most notably on the top rim and lid, and on the inside of the pot at the base. There is also a graze to the edge of the lid, which is a firing fault. 

On the whole, though, this is a lovely example of this rare type of pot.
