I don't often see pierced faisselle draining pots this big, and so beautifully rustic.
This antique French pierced cheese making mould dates to the 19th Century and comes from the Provence area. It's such an impressive size, and would make a perfect decorative accessory as a table centrepiece in the home. They look stunning with tealights (this would fit five or six), dried flowers or holding sponges and brushes by the sink.
It is a rustic piece and so does have some wear to the colouring and light chips to the stoneware in places. There is also an old crack on one side but this is stable and wouldn't affect this being used in the home.
