A wonderful and rarely seen example of an antique Victorian potato masher or pestle with a deep and rich patina.
A large example, this antique wooden masher has been turned from a single piece of wood and is a wonderfully tactile item. It is a lovely decorative piece of antique treen.
In good condition, it has a beautiful shape and deep colour to it. There is some light wear in places, plus there is an old crack across the base, no doubt from where it has been used. But this is tight and stable.
