Large Antique 19th Century Carved Wall Panel

This carved wooden panel is exceptional. Dating from the 19th Century, this would most likely have adorned a large piece of furniture or larger panel.

It's a chunky piece, with beautiful ribbon and garland effect detailing in the carving. A wonderful feature piece for a wall, or to hang above a mantel or door.

This panel has suffered some damage in its lifetime, and has two small areas of loss on the right hand and bottom edges. There is also a repair to the wood at the bottom. There are also some old worm holes to the back but this piece has been treated.
