This is a lovely extra large aged and weathered vintage English ironstone platter, dating from the mid 20th Century.
With a marked base showing the name of its ‘Orchid’ pattern, this extra large transferware ironstone platter is perfect for entertaining.
Apart from patches of timeworn and stained crazing which features all over the plate, it is otherwise in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and just some minor wear and scratches to the surfaces and edges of the piece.
