At the front are two crossed torches of liberty sitting against a decorative moulding, with floral wreaths also hanging down. The back part of the hook is equally impressive, with cornucopia and feathers sitting at each end of a crest. The work that has gone into making this is very impressive. And it would have originally had an ormolu finish, some of which can still be seen.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAside from the discolouration to the brass over time, this piece is otherwise in very nice condition.
