Beautiful Buttery Stained Antique French Coffee Cup

This terre de fer coffee cup, made by Gien, ticks all the right boxes for me. It is stunning with the most gorgeous blue transferware pattern and lots of rustic charm.

The crazing and buttery coffee coloured staining on this coffee cup is wonderful, giving this cafe au lait an entirely unique patina. It complements the soft blue colour of the decoration perfectly.

There is crazing all over, which has stained. This is more notable on the inside of the cup, but there is buttery discolouration on the outside too. There are a couple of odd nibbles in places, but no chips or cracks. And the cup is still very usable.
