Antique Victorian White Ironstone English Advertising Pot - George Wilson Confectioners of Bradford

Featuring rarely seen advertising for George Wilson & Sons Confectioners of Bradford, this rare Victorian white ironstone pot dates from the late 1800s/early 1900s.

This is a great example of this scarce advertising pot, featuring a clear black transfer print using different styles of typography on the individual lines.

The pot would have been used to sell the manufacturer's potted meats & bloater pastes.

Considered a throwaway item at the time it was produced, this pot is nonetheless in good clean condition. There is some light crazing and also some mild staining all over. However, overall it’s a very clean example with the transfer still very clear.
