This is a listing for one antique Victorian stoneware kitchen jar.
Dating from the late Victorian period, these antique pots are in varying shades of pale putty. Creamy grey, beige and touches of white are evident in them, making them a perfect neutral backdrop for display and everyday storage in the modern home.
Designed for foodstuffs like jams and mustard, these pots were considered throwaway items at the time. These weathered and chippy old pots, with imperfect and rough finishes, dents, nicks, dribbles in the glaze, firing marks and discoloration, are perfect to add rustic charm and timeworn appeal to your interior.
Available to purchase individually, the left hand pot with the band around it is in excellent condition with just some mild staining on one side and measures 8.5cm tall and 7cm wide.
The right hand pot is also in very good condition but there is a small firing crack on the top rim from the time of production. It measures 9.5cm tall and 7.5cm wide.
