Antique Victorian Ironstone Jelly Mould - Rose Decoration

A wonderful classic white ironstone jelly mould, dating from the mid to late Victorian period, in very nice condition.

This jelly mould is slightly more unusual design with a wonderful deep rosette pattern in its base, which is framed within an oval shape. It is finished off with a turreted castle border around the edge of the mould. 

In good condition for its age, there are no cracks or crazing. There are a few tiny nibbles to the inside base of the mould, as well as some age spots. The base rim also has a chip, but this doesn't affect its use in any way. It is an excellent item both for ongoing use and decorative purposes.
