Antique Slim One Pound James Keiller Dundee Marmalade Advertising Pot

This is a listing for an early to mid 20th Century slim one pound Dundee marmalade pot.

This is a nice clean example of the slimmer version of the 1lb James Keiller Scottish advertising Dundee marmalade pots, which were made in a variety of different styles and shapes. 

Although there is a small knock and chip to the back of this pot at the base rim, plus some grease marks from use, this pot appears to have been kept rather than be thrown away, resulting in it being in very clean condition and with a very clear under glaze transfer printed logo.  

Commonly used to store kitchen utensils, they are also perfect for use as vases, plant pots or to store artists paintbrushes.
