Antique French Miniature Picture

A very sweet framed miniature picture of a couple in the countryside. Regency in its style, it depicts a shepherdess with her sheep strolling with her arm linked to a man out hunting with his dog. I wonder if this is there first meeting.

Sourced in France, this is an early 20th Century piece and is a very sweet item to hang on a shelf or in a small space. There is lots of age and wear to the frame, with some loss to the varnish (particularly around the edge) of the frame and the golden finish to the edge of the picture. The edge of the glass covering the picture also has some nibbles. 

These flaws are however reflected in the price of this picture and it's a sweet piece.
