Antique French Large White Ironstone Soupiere

Although this does have some minor damage to one of its handles, this is nonetheless a nice example of a large French white ironstone footed soup bowl with decorative lion head handles.

Dating from the early 20th Century, this soupiere is an impressive large size made with heavy duty ironstone. Great for day to day use, this large plain whiteware bowl also looks beautiful on display or used around the home as a planter.

There is a chip to one of the lion head handles, but otherwise this soupiere is in good condition. There are no other chips, cracks or crazing. There are some age and scuff marks in places but overall it is a clean example.
