A very attractive example of an antique French printing block, featuring a repetitive fleur de lys pattern, likely to date from the 19th Century.

This carved wooden printing block would make a very attractive piece of vintage decor in the home. 

In fair condition for its age, there is some loss and wear to the wood, particularly around the edge of the piece. There is also some discolouration and different colours to the printing section, no doubt a result of where it has been used over the years. However, this adds to its timeworn charm and it is a highly decorative item. There are also some insect holes on the back but the piece has been treated.
